Top 5 News & Magazines Apps on Android in Latvia, Q3 2024

The third quarter of 2024 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top News and Magazines apps on the Android platform in Latvia. Here’s a look at the weekly downloads for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar observed a relatively stable download trend throughout the quarter. Starting at 81 downloads in early July, it experienced a slight dip mid-month before peaking at 102 downloads by the week of July 22. The app maintained a consistent download rate close to the 90s for the rest of the quarter.

Way2News Daily News App faced a declining trend in downloads over the quarter. Beginning with 70 downloads at the start of July, the numbers gradually decreased, hitting a low of 20 downloads by the week of August 19. The app made a slight recovery thereafter, ending the quarter with 25 downloads.

Shuru:Public News & Local News experienced fluctuations in its download numbers. Starting with 39 downloads in early July, it reached a peak of 60 downloads in the week of September 9, before dropping to 27 downloads by the end of September.

Opera News: breaking & local showed modest download activity. The app started with 36 downloads at the beginning of the quarter and reached its peak with 52 downloads in the last week of August. However, it concluded the quarter with 38 downloads.

Tomorrow's Affairs had a varied performance in downloads. The app started with 18 downloads, peaked significantly at 187 downloads during the week of September 23, and closed the quarter with 29 downloads.
